09h20: 425kms: Apt. Ca va mal! Jacques a un problème avec son cable arrière de dérailleur qui a provoqué une hernie dans la guidoline. Il reste 200kms avec deux cols, Jacques décide d'abandonner. Je refuse, je lui propose de changer de vélo, mais non, il veut téléphoner à sa femme pour qu'elle vienne le chercher. Alors je continue le brevet seul, et Jacques ne sera pas qualifié pour PBP. Dur pour moi de repartir de Apt, dur... |
09:20am: 425kms: Apt. Very bad news! Jacques notice a problem with his rear derailler brake in his handlebar. We have to ride yet 200k with two cols and he decides to stop here. I refuse, I propose to swap our bikes every 50kms, but nothing he wants to phone to his wife... So I continue alone the brevet, and Jacques won't be qualified for PBP. Very hard for me to leave Apt... |
